Age RequirementChildren who are five years old on or before Sept. 1 are eligible to begin kindergarten.
Kindergarten Enrollment ChecklistTo streamline the enrollment process, please have the following items when registering your student(s):
- proof of residence if residing in Bloomington
- immunization records
- birth certificate
- preschool screening record
Kindergarten Information Night 2018-2019 (Class of 2031)Kindergarten Information Night will feature the following activities:
- learning about Bloomington's kindergarten program
- meeting your child's prospective kindergarten teacher
- visiting classrooms
- touring the school
- computer access for online enrollment

School PreferenceParents and guardians who would like their student to attend a school other than the student’s school of residence the following year may submit an intra-district transfer request. Transfers will be subject to available space and limited to ensure enrollment balance among the schools.
